DESCRIPTION:Seniors\, get ready to gobble gobble and enjoy a FREE and delicious Thanksgiving dinner with friends at the Plymouth Council on Aging on Wednesday November 20th. The CAL Cafe staff will be serving a fantastic traditional holiday feast as a thanks to the seniors in the community! Space is limited\, registration is required\, with the tickets determined by lottery. Be sure to call the CAL by November 6th to be entered into the attendance raffle and please specify if you have a “plus one”. Attendees will be notified by November 8th. Doors open at 11:15 and the meal will be served at 11:30am.

DESCRIPTION:The Plymouth Center for Active Living invites seniors to a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween afternoon celebration. CARVE out some time for a fabulous Fall feast of pumpkin bisque soup\, a harvest turkey wrap served with house made chips\, devilish apple spice cake and delicious seasonal mocktails.  DJ John Peters will be CREEPIN it real spinning tunes starting at 12:30 to transition into the free Halloween party from 1pm to 3pm! There will be dancing\, sweet treats\, surprises\, fun\, games and prizes–including one for the most EERIE-sistible costume. The fun starts at 11:30 and costs only $9.99 per person. The Plymouth Center for Active Living is here to help and is offering the Family and Politics Workshop on Tuesday October 22nd at 5:30 PM.  Preserve your loving relationships AND stay true to your values and political views with this presentation by the Braver Angels organization\, who will provide participants with strategies for interactions with family members whose political views clash with yours in ways that are constructive\, and not destructive–all while sharing fun stories and provoking some laughs. The goal is to leave this gathering with a toolbox of skills that may not erase opposing opinions but will help preserve those precious family bonds. Registration is appreciated but not required – walk-ins are welcome\, and this workshop is free!
