DESCRIPTION:Pembroke\, MA – New England Village\, Inc. (NEV) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Wheelchair and Walker Car Wash Carnival on Wednesday July 31st from 3pm to 5pm at NEV’s Sollar Wellness Center located at 664 School Street in Pembroke\, MA. \nNew England Village will be partnering with Bayada Home Health Care and National Seating & Mobility in providing on-site safety inspections and adjustments\, along with free equipment cleaning of manual and power wheelchairs as well as mobility walkers. \nIn addition to safety inspections\, adjustments and cleaning\, New England Village will also have sensory and water activities for all to enjoy. \nThis event is free and open to all manual and power wheelchair users as well as mobility walkers. \nFor more information or to register\, please contact NEV’s Director of Health Services Lauren Miller at 781-293-5461 x111 or email lmiller@newenglandvillage.org with the subject line “Car Wash” \nNew England Village\, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to realize their potential and pursue their dreams through innovative programs and community living.
