SUMMARY:Preserving and Storing the Yield from the Garden Class at Plymouth Public Library
DESCRIPTION:Part of the joy of having a vegetable and herb garden is the reward of eating the fruits… or veggies of your labor. Wouldn’t it be great to plan meals from your garden all year long? You can\, and the solution to being able to partake in the pleasure of your pickings beyond the growing season can be found in cans and jars. On Tuesday September 17th the Plymouth Public Library will host Jackie Millar from Terra Cura and Lori Walsh from Thyme for Wellness to demonstrate a variety of simple methods to preserve your bountiful harvest of herbs and vegetables.  A quick and easy pickling recipe and a delicious Herb Pesto recipe will be featured. The class will meet in the Fehlow Room at the Plymouth Public Library from 6:30 to 8pm.  Register via the library’s website.
