His performances combine expressive improvisation\, considerable technique\, and a playful curiosity that flourishes in the twists and turns of each unique moment. Noted for his “fluid pianism” by the New York Times he has performed in 27 countries and released 14 albums\, two of which landed on the “Best Album” lists in DownBeat Magazine in 2017 and 2023. Come live in the music filled moments with this one of a kind performer. Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased through the Spire Center’s website. Doors will open at 6:30 and Gardony will begin tickling the ivories at 7:30pm.

SUMMARY:Plymouth Phil's Legends and Legacies Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra presents Legends and Legacies\, conducted by Steven Karidoyanes and featuring the Overture to Don Giovanni by Mozart\, a symphonic synopsis of an incredible opera replete with scandal\, murder and revenge. Also performed will be Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 2\, a bold and brilliant symphony rich in Romantic musical dialect. The evening’s centerpiece will be Joaquin Rodrigo’s Fantasia Para un Gentilhombre (Fantasia for a Nobleman) featuring guitar soloist Eliot Fisk\, a student of Andres Segovia\, for whom Rodrigo wrote the concerto. This performance at Plymouth North High School begins at 7:30 PM\, and All ticket holders are invited to attend a pre-concert talk with Conductor Steven Karidoyanes at 6:30 for no added cost.  After the concert there will be a dessert reception at the adjacent Performing Arts Center offering wine\, dessert\, coffee\, and wine\, at a cost of only $25.00.

On October 6th\, The Sunday afternoon concert series at The Art Complex Museum will present Georgian-American pianist Ana Glig (Gligvashvili)\, recipient of the Alfred Cortot prize at the Tbilisi International Piano Competition for the best interpretation of romantic music. She has performed internationally in Europe and the United States in solo and chamber settings\, lives in Cape Cod and is currently Music Director at the First United Methodist Church in Chatham.  Also featured will be flutist Carl Gutowski\, who has been performing in solo and chamber music settings for over 30 years–including recent performances at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall\, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod; the Cape Cod Museum of Art; and the National Opera Center in New York. The 90 minute concert begins at 4pm. Seating is on a first come first serve basis\, so we recommend arriving early to secure your seat.

DESCRIPTION:The Plymouth Public Library invites you to an evening of stunning classical piano performed by renowned Concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky\, on September 16th in the library’s Fehlow Room. A graduate of The Juilliard School in New York\, Mr. Rudnytsky has toured over 100 countries\, and been a prizewinner in ten piano competitions\, including the prestigious International Leventritt Competition in New York.   \nHe was piano and music faculty at Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music for 39 years and is now the “Professor Emeritus” in his retirement. The library is honored to be hosting this internationally esteemed musician. The concert will begin at 6:30 and end at 8pm and is free to attend. Please register via the library’s website.

Thursday August 29th\, join Cara and her guest Sarah Blacker\, who has been named New England Music Award’s Female Performer of the Year.  The music starts at 7:30 PM and the podcast at 8. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through the venue’s website.
