Learn more about The Troubles On Saturday January 18th\,  at 2: 00 PM\, when  the Ancient Order of Hibernians Plymouth Division 9 is hosting an intimate talk with author David Tereshchuk\,  to mark publication of David’s memoir\, A Question of Paternity: My Life as an Unaffiliated Reporter. Moderated by Irish activist and journalist Don Mullan\, “From Bloody Sunday to other global upheavals” is a free event  in the inspired historical setting of Cordage Park.  Learn about Tereshchuk’s intriguing life\, career and the stories behind the memoir during a panel discussion\, followed by a moderated Q&A session open to the audience. The poems to be discussed are “A Tuft of Flowers”\, “Mending Wall”\, “Birches”\, “After Apple Picking”\, “Acquainted with the Night” and “Desert Places.” The performance will end with Collins doing a dramatic reading of “The Death of the Hired Man.” The show is about an hour and a half long and will be at the Duxbury Senior Center at 10 Mayflower Street in Duxbury. DESCRIPTION:The book Tidy by award winning author Emily Gravett has environmental preservation and sustainability at its heart.  On Saturday October 5th\, Tidy will be transformed into an immersive StoryWalk experience along the North Plymouth Seaside Trail\, the 1.2 mile path connecting Nelson and Cordage Parks. Kicking off at Nelson Park at 10:00 AM\, you will be able to walk along the trail while learning about all the elements and wildlife that surround you as you also follow the story of Pete the badger\, whose need for neatness causes a chain reaction of environmental consequences. StoryWalk will be up until Monday\, November 4th. The trail is both stroller and wheelchair friendly!  \nThis Story Walk project is a partnership between Plymouth Public Library\, Plymouth Open Space Committee\, Sustainable Plymouth and Plymouth’s Department of Energy and Environment.

The story then follows dual narratives: one of Joe\, the girl’s six year old brother who was the last person to see her before she disappeared\, and the second  of a young girl named Norma\, who is haunted by recurring dreams\, leading her to intuitively seek out the past she suspects her family is hiding.
