SUMMARY:Kickoff to Seaside Trail StoryWalk to Tidy by Emily Gravett
DESCRIPTION:The book Tidy by award winning author Emily Gravett has environmental preservation and sustainability at its heart.  On Saturday October 5th\, Tidy will be transformed into an immersive StoryWalk experience along the North Plymouth Seaside Trail\, the 1.2 mile path connecting Nelson and Cordage Parks. Kicking off at Nelson Park at 10:00 AM\, you will be able to walk along the trail while learning about all the elements and wildlife that surround you as you also follow the story of Pete the badger\, whose need for neatness causes a chain reaction of environmental consequences. StoryWalk will be up until Monday\, November 4th. The trail is both stroller and wheelchair friendly!  \nThis Story Walk project is a partnership between Plymouth Public Library\, Plymouth Open Space Committee\, Sustainable Plymouth and Plymouth’s Department of Energy and Environment.

SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Poems by Robert Frost performed by Stephen Collins
DESCRIPTION:Duxbury Free Library together with the Duxbury Senior Center are pleased to present “An Afternoon of Poems by Robert Frost” on Wednesday\, October 9th at 2:30 pm. This unique\, interactive performance by Stephen Collins will first introduce the life of this complex\, dichotomous\, and often misunderstood poet\, and then invite participants to join a discussion of a selection of Frost’s poems. The poems to be discussed are “A Tuft of Flowers”\, “Mending Wall”\, “Birches”\, “After Apple Picking”\, “Acquainted with the Night” and “Desert Places.” The performance will end with Collins doing a dramatic reading of “The Death of the Hired Man.” The show is about an hour and a half long and will be at the Duxbury Senior Center at 10 Mayflower Street in Duxbury. DESCRIPTION:Love in All its Forms will feature four local authors reading and performing original works spanning literally all forms of love: gay\, straight\, undecided\, male\, female\, cringe-inducing\, heart-warming\, humorous\, pathetic\, vanilla and not-so-much\, millennial and middle-aged\, romantic and platonic. \nThree local authors (Randy Ross\, Jason M. Rubin\, and Judah Leblang) plus special guest author Stephanie Schorow will present their latest work on the modern state of love. \nJason M. Rubin has been a professional writer since 1985. He has published two books—one\, a collection of two historical romance novellas\, the other a set of classic fairy tales told from the point of view of the villains. He is currently shopping another book-length manuscript and assembling a collection of short stories.
