Wildlife photographer Joy Marzolf from Joys of Nature will be in the Merry Room with live animal guests to talk about the cold weather survival tactics our creature friends use to make it through the long\, cold season. DESCRIPTION:Soule Homestead invites young winter breakers to branch out and seed your imagination at their drop-in craft event on Friday December 27th.  The Acorn Sewing Craft and Story event requires no registration\, just pop by the barn with your kiddos anytime between 10am and noon for the Acorn Sewing Craft and Story event\, when kids can learn how to do a simple running stitch and get a little nutty making fabric acorns.  Intermittently throughout the event\, a farm volunteer will help your littles come out of their shell with Acorn-y story.  No registration is required for this drop-in event. The last walk is at 7:45. It is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. The cost is only $5 for children up to age 12\, and the price includes a lantern craft activity to help light the path along the way. Adult tickets are$8 and include  a free cocoa or coffee. Additional refreshments\, such as soup and s’mores will be for sale as well. All proceeds go towards the preservation of the  Homestead. .

This Tuesday after school class runs from 3:10 to 4:15 PM\, and is $100 per child\, which includes all materials and supplies.
