SUMMARY:Soup Cooking Demonstration at Kingston COA
DESCRIPTION:January is National Soup Month and the Kingston Council on Aging is having a SOUPER event to celebrate it! On Friday January 17th at 11:30am Chef Woerner from Cafe Evergreen will be doing a cooking demonstration of how to make a hearty chicken and barley soup with vegetables–the perfect bowl of warm deliciousness to cozy up to during the long cold winter months. The fee of $5 dollars is due upon registration and includes a full portion of the soup\, plus a scrumptious roll to dip and sop up every last savory drop. The recipe will be available for everyone to take home.

Appointments are typically about two hours long\, and can be made starting January 27th by calling the designated Tax Aid number at 781 689 0406 or by emailing kingstaxaid@ gmail.com. Once you make your appointment\, you can pick up a tax packet at the Senior Center that will include instructions\, a questionnaire and other forms that should be completed before you meet with your tax person.
