DESCRIPTION:The Rockettes high kicking\, showstopping famed annual Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular has made tap dancing numbers a holiday tradition since 1933. Join The Pembroke Council on Aging to shuffle-ball-change into the spirit of the season with longtime tap dancer Jan Harold and her fantastic dance crew on Thursday December 19th for A Tap Holiday Performance. Beginning at 10am\, Jan and her brigade of toe-tappers will click heel-toe across the floor and put on what is SHOE to be a dazzling dance show. This event is free and open to all.

On Friday January 17th at 11:30am Chef Woerner from Cafe Evergreen will be doing a cooking demonstration of how to make a hearty chicken and barley soup with vegetables–the perfect bowl of warm deliciousness to cozy up to during the long cold winter months. The fee of $5 dollars is due upon registration and includes a full portion of the soup\, plus a scrumptious roll to dip and sop up every last savory drop. The recipe will be available for everyone to take home.
