SUMMARY:Plymouth Public Library 5th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival
DESCRIPTION:Come see up to 75 exhibitors present original work and handcrafted canvas art\, sculpture\, woodwork\, glass creations\, fabric art\, pottery\, fashion\, jewelry\, metalwork and more. Artists hail from Plymouth\, the Pine Hills and over 30 regional towns. \nThere will also be live music featuring Bruce Fletcher\, Colette O’Connor\, Mike Doyle\, Jim Sharkey and Abigail Vail. Additional family exhibits includes Child’s Ply Alpaca\, Massachusetts South Shore Woodturners\, face painter Sybil Kaplan and a rocking boat to be created on site by South Shore Boatworks. There will also be a feature of custom LEGO creations. \nFood options include Artisan Pig\, Del’s Lemonade and a beer garden hosted by Second Wind Brewery. \nParking is available at 5 different sites with a courtesy shuttle provided. Festival proceeds will be used to support the many cultural\, artistic and educational programs offered by the Plymouth Public Library. \nFor more information\, visit pplfd.org/events.

DESCRIPTION:An annual Plymouth tradition\, the Holy Ghost Festa will be held Sunday July 21st. \nThe day starts at 9 am with a parade from the Young America Club on Ocean View Avenue to St. Mary’s Parish on Court Street. \nAt 10 am a full mass will be held with the crowning of of two youngsters from the community. After the mass\, at 11 am the parade will process up Cherry Street to South Cherry Street to the Holy Ghost Field (12 South Cherry Street). \nFrom Noon to 6 pm\, join in the festivities-traditional Portuguese food\, Live Auction\, Portuguese dance group and music! \n
