DESCRIPTION:On Thursday August 22nd the Duxbury Senior Center is hosting an Animated Film Festival celebrating the animated films of beloved British artist Raymond Briggs. Although Briggs himself never animated his work\, his illustrations inspired animators worldwide who thoughtfully brought books such as The Bear and The Snowman to life on the big screen\, lovingly capturing the vulnerable aspects of humanity\, truth and compassion Briggs poured into the tone and feel of his work.  The night will be facilitated by storyteller and educator Beth Camron Kilbridge. The Animated Film Festival will begin at 1pm in the Large Classroom at the Senior Center.  There are limited seats and registration is required for this fantastic and free celebration of visual storytelling.
