There is no advance registration required on these days\, and the cost is just $10 paid at the door.

DESCRIPTION:A Christmas Carol was written by Charles Dickens to\, “help open the hearts of the prosperous and powerful toward the poor and powerless.” More than 180 years later\, the author’s intention continues to hit the mark with this cherished redemption tale portrayed in a rousing variety of ways every holiday season. From December 12th\, through the 15th\, the Plymouth Antiquarian Society will bring this classic tale to the life in an interactive experience that will transform the 1809 Hedge House into an immersive walk-through with Ebenezer Scrooge’s penance and recompense. Join Scrooge as you travel through the rooms of the historical house\, encountering a talented cast of performers enacting his visitations with the Ghosts of Christmas Past\, Present\, and Future. This one-of-a-kind performance will last approximately 45 minutes and tickets are a pittance at the cost of only a few shillings\, or $35 per person in American current day dollars. SUMMARY:Luminaria Walk at Soule Homestead
DESCRIPTION:The Winter season brings new enchantment to Soule Homestead.  On December 13th and  14th experience the magical Luminaria Walk when the nature trails at Soule become a beautifully atmospheric pathway aglow with candles  and an immersive storywalk about the winter solstice.  This is a captivating and unique experience is  wonderful for all ages\, starts at 5pm\, and embarks in groups limited to 15 people\, running in 20-minute increments. The last walk is at 7:45. It is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. The cost is only $5 for children up to age 12\, and the price includes a lantern craft activity to help light the path along the way. Adult tickets are$8 and include  a free cocoa or coffee. Additional refreshments\, such as soup and s’mores will be for sale as well. All proceeds go towards the preservation of the  Homestead. .
