DESCRIPTION:Kingston Rec’s Kids Lego Club\, meeting every Thursday through November 14th from 3:10 to 4:15 at the Kingston Intermediate School. Instructed by Mrs. Sontag\, there will be a new fun design challenge every week to inspire creativity and promote persistence and problem-solving. Students can work together in teams or as individuals. On the last day of LEGO Club\, every kid will be able to bring home a small creation. LEGO club is intended for kids in grades 3 to 5. Please visit the Kingston Parks and Recreation department website to sign up. When registering for LEGO club please be aware that you are giving Kingston Intermediate School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program.

DESCRIPTION:The Blake Planetarium invites you to enjoy an evening of Mindfulness and Meditation–planetarium style on Thursday\, November 14th at the Blake Planetarium. The evening’s opening program\, “Bella Gaia\,” will explore the relationship between human civilization and our ecosystem\, and the connections between art and science. Satellite imagery of earth with time-lapse nature photography combines with musical accompaniment to create an extraordinary audio-visual experience. Next\, you’ll revel in stunning sunsets\, from the Grand Canyon to the North Pole\, culminating in a night sky filled with stars\, and glimpses of the Northern Lights in the presentation “Sunset Meditation”. The show is from 7 to 8pm and is ideal for stargazers aged 10 and up.
