DESCRIPTION:Kingston Rec’s Kids Lego Club\, meeting every Thursday through November 14th from 3:10 to 4:15 at the Kingston Intermediate School. Instructed by Mrs. Sontag\, there will be a new fun design challenge every week to inspire creativity and promote persistence and problem-solving. Students can work together in teams or as individuals. On the last day of LEGO Club\, every kid will be able to bring home a small creation. LEGO club is intended for kids in grades 3 to 5. When registering for LEGO club please be aware that you are giving Kingston Intermediate School permission for your child to be released at dismissal time to the instructor for the program.

DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the annual Boo-Tacular at the Pembroke Public Library AND Pembroke Council on Aging! On Thursday October 24th\, little GHOULS and GOBLINS are invited to both locations for an all treats and no tricks Halloween event. There will be a variety of fun activities\, both candy and non-food treats\, and Violet the Clown\, who will be painting faces and twisting balloons into SPOOK-tacular shapes. It wouldn’t be a bootacular event without jack-o-lanterns\, and they’ll be there on display\, carved by community members. The fun runs from 4:30 to 5:30 PM\, is free\, and open to all youth. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
