The Secret to Successful Aging is a TED talk by Cathleen Toomey, a branding professional who, using humor and her own experience, presents three keys to thriving as an older person. In her viral TED Talk, The Secret to Successful Aging, Cathleen shares that neither eating more kale and getting Botox, nor doing endless Sudoku puzzles holds the key to truly aging well. Rather it is about embracing your age, defying expectations and growing new friendships. On Wednesday December 18th the Duxbury Council on Aging invites you for a viewing of Toomey’s TED talk, with an inspired discussion about the points presented in the video to follow. This event will start at 11am and be led by the Senior Center’s student intern Andrew. If you would like to attend, please register with the Center.
