The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra presents Legends and Legacies, conducted by Steven Karidoyanes and featuring the Overture to Don Giovanni by Mozart, a symphonic synopsis of an incredible opera replete with scandal, murder and revenge. Also performed will be Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 2, a bold and brilliant symphony rich in Romantic musical dialect. The evening’s centerpiece will be Joaquin Rodrigo’s Fantasia Para un Gentilhombre (Fantasia for a Nobleman) featuring guitar soloist Eliot Fisk, a student of Andres Segovia, for whom Rodrigo wrote the concerto. This performance at Plymouth North High School begins at 7:30 PM, and All ticket holders are invited to attend a pre-concert talk with Conductor Steven Karidoyanes at 6:30 for no added cost. After the concert there will be a dessert reception at the adjacent Performing Arts Center offering wine, dessert, coffee, and wine, at a cost of only $25.00.
