How to Write A Novel Workshop with Stephen White at The Pembroke Public Library

About the act of sitting down and writing the first draft of a novel, author Vladimir Nabokov said “The pages are still blank, but there is a miraculous feeling of the words being there, written in invisible ink and clamoring to become visible.” The Pembroke Public Library has invited author Stephen White to lead How to Write a Novel, a workshop that promises to help you begin to make those invisible words appear on the page. In other words–get started on that novelA writer for over 50 years with his 12th novel currently in the works, Stephen will cover all aspects of the novel writing journey, from brainstorming and shaping your ideas, to building characters and writing what you know, to the editing and how to publish your book. This one-hour workshop is on Tuesday November 19th at 6pm. Registration is required and can be done through the library’s website.
