Kingston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a First Aid Class for kids ages 11 to 15 years old that will demonstrate and discuss, in age appropriate ways, how to treat minor injuries, indoor and outdoor hazards to be aware of, and tips to prevent accidents or injury from happening in the first place. The class will be taught by Family Physician Cheryl Mitchell, M.D., who has over thirty years of experience in treating a wide range of health issues in patients of all ages. This essential class is offered at the reasonable cost of $44 for residents and $50 for non-residents. First Aid for Kids will take place from 6pm to 8pm in the Barcella Room at the Reed Community House Building.
