Whether you support a small local farm or grow some of your own food in a backyard or community garden, you’ll enjoy Eating Locally, a program at the Pembroke Public Library on Wednesday, October 16th. Highlighting the ways consuming food grown close to home improves both personal and environmental health, and creates a more robust local economy, this talk presented by Pembroke Farmers Market President Meghan Watts, also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, will provide tips, recipes and resources to help keep you on the green road to good health and long-term sustainability. The event starts at 6pm and is about an hour long.
