The Americana Theater Company is reprising its 2022 original work, “An Americana Christmas Carol” at Plymouth Center for the Arts on select dates in December. Written by ATC co-Artistic Directors Derek Grant Martin and Jesse M Sullivan, and directed by award winning Marianne Savell, the play puts a uniquely Americana stamp on the beloved classic, combining the beauty and redemption themes of the original Christmas Carol story with a nod to the wild comedic elements of “Noises Off.” The set up :  characters Charles and Isabella Richardson, a recently separated couple, try to hold it together on opening night of their production of A Christmas Carol. The scene is chaotic, portraying a cruel and bitter Charles,  bent on playing the role of  Scrooge off stage as much as  on.  Can the ghosts of Christmas and marriage  change his heart and save the production?
