Experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony inside ACM’s authentic
Sho-fu-an tea house — meaning “Wind in the Pines” — designed by Sano
Gofu in Kyoto and reassembled at the museum in 1975. Guests begin
with a walk through the roji tea garden before the ceremony, rooted in the
principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility.
