Kingston, Mass. — Kingston Branch Manager Donna Smith-Bocash of Eastern Bank will instruct a pair of financial literacy programs on Tuesday, August 5 at the Adams Center (33 Summer St). The first session taking place at 2 PM is titled, “Money Matters” budgeting workshop, will discuss tips on how patrons can prepare a budget, keep track of their money, and understand income and expenses.
The second program at 6 PM is, a “To Your Credit” workshop. Smith-Bocash will explain how your credit history affects individuals. Participants will learn how to order a credit report, interpret it, and present advice on how to build or repair one’s credit history.
Smith-Bocash started her career in banking in 1978 at BayBank. She has stayed throughout all mergers and acquisitions until 2008 when she became part of Eastern Bank. Smith-Bocash is active in the Kingston community through the Kingston Business Association, including hosting and attending events such as the Kingston Waterfront Festival. She is presently a Vice President at Eastern Bank.
This program is part of the 2025 Adult Summer Reading Program, “Level Up at Your Library.” Attendees are eligible for a raffle ticket for one of three prizes on display in the Circulation area.
