VIRTUAL EVENT: How We Create Pandemics, From Our Bodies to Our Beliefs at Duxbury Free Library

Join Sabrina Sholts, Curator of Biological Anthropology at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History for How We Create Pandemics, From Our Bodies to Our Beliefs, a virtual event with The Duxbury Free Library held on Tuesday February 4th at 2:00 PM. Drawing from her book The Human Disease, Sholts will identify and discuss the human traits and behavior that make pandemics an inescapable threat. She will also illuminate the more hopeful note of how the capacity of our extraordinary human brains allow us to recognize risks, devise solutions, and adapt future action plans based on what we’ve learned, to reduce the devastation of a future pandemic. Visit the Duxbury Free Library events calendar to register for this virtual presentation.
