Photographer Stefanie Faherty will conduct a workshop titled, “Learn How To Use a DSLR Camera,” on Wednesday, January 15 at the Adams Center (33 Summer Street, Kingston), at 6 PM. Whether you just received a Canon or Nikon DSLR camera for Christmas, have one buried in the closet, or are curious about learning more about your camera, this workshop is for you. Faherty will discuss camera settings, the importance of light, basic photography skills, and how to take photos in a myriad of different situations.
Faherty, a graduate of UMass Amherst, has run her local photography business for the last 12 years. She has a passion for capturing images of newborns and families along the South Shore, communities in and around Boston, Cape Cod, and beyond. Her work has been recognized with the Wicked Local Readers Choice Award in 2014 through 2019, with top selections in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Faherty lives in Kingston with her husband and two children.
