New England Animals in the Winter at Duxbury Free Library

When the weather gets cold and blustery, we humans wrap ourselves in seasonal clothing and spend more time cozied up in heated homes under piles of blankets or beside a warm fire. But what do our animal neighbors do once the temperature drops?  Learn how mammals, birds, insects and reptiles survive the winter at the Duxbury Free Library on Friday December 27th at 10:30am. Wildlife photographer Joy Marzolf from Joys of Nature will be in the Merry Room with live animal guests to talk about the cold weather survival tactics our creature friends use to make it through the long, cold season. This program is thirty minutes long and is ideal for children ages 5 and up to attend with their caregivers. Please register through the Duxbury Free Library’s website.
