New York Times bestselling author Catherine Newman will be at the Adams Center in Kingston for a discussion of “Sandwich,” her latest, which Ann Patchett glowingly referred to as being “joy in book form.” Sandwich is a touching, and often hilarious novel about a family’s annual Cape Cod summer vacation derailed by plumbing disasters, a mess of menopausal rage, and family secrets emerging from the cracks of the past.
