The Plymouth Antiquarian Society’s lush sweeping lawn and gorgeous view of Plymouth Harbor is the setting for their Annual Antiquarian Summer Fair on Saturday August 24th from 10am to 3pm. Travel back in time and peruse antique books, prints and collectibles, vintage clothing, jewelry and other timeless treasures all available for purchase. There will also be a bake sale offering fresh, not vintage, homemade sweet treats. The Antiquarian Summer Fair is free to attend. Additionally, the historic 1809 Hedge House will be open for tours during the event for a small admission fee–residents of Plymouth pay just $5 for adults and $2 for children. Members of the Plymouth Antiquarian Society get in for free and for non-residents the cost is only $10 for adults and $5 for the young ones. All proceeds go towards the Society’s mission to preserve and share local history.
